About Candy Ashdown

As an experienced REALTOR® specializing in residential sales in both the Fraser Valley and Lower Mainland, Candy works with buyers and sellers of all types of homes. Buying and purchasing a home is a huge milestone for her clients and Candy considers the opportunity to be chosen by and to work with her clients an honour. She prides herself on her excellent communication and relationship skills. Selling or buying a home can be a very exciting time, but it can also be a very stressful experience. Candy strives to always make the experience for her clients very positive and stress-free.


Continuous professional development is important to Candy to provide the most value to her clients. She carries the additional real estate designations of MCNE® (Master Certified Negotiation Expert) and SRES® (Seniors Real Estate Specialist).


Candy is currently serving her second elected term as Trustee on the Langley Board of Education, where she is honoured to hold the position of Chair of the Board. Candy also currently runs a growing Facebook page for her neighbourhood of Salmon River Uplands.


Candy is a long time Langley resident, having grown up and raised her family in Langley. She married her high school sweetheart over 25 years ago and they now have two grown, amazing daughters attending university. Over the years, Candy has been an avid community volunteer.


For over six years, Candy served as a volunteer on the Government Relations (GR) Committee for the Fraser Valley Real Estate Board. The GR Committee is a non-partisan committee representing Fraser Valley REALTORS® and their clients to advocate on important legislative issues, emphasizing the importance of home ownership. The committee advocates at local, provincial and federal government levels.


Candy’s past experience includes earning a Diploma in Computer Graphic Design, and working as a Marketing Specialist before become pursuing her dream of becoming a REALTOR®. She brings years of Marketing experience with her to her business.
